Looking for hotel rooms in or near the Grand Canyon? Grand Canyon Village located at the South Rim has several hotels that can accommodate almost everyone's needs. Hotels in Grand Canyon Village will be your best bet for staying in Grand Canyon National Park. If the hotels there are already booked up or you'd like to spend a little less money, Tusayan is less than 7 miles from the entrance gates of the national park; Williams is about 60 miles away; and Flagstaff is about 80 miles away from the Grand Canyon. Tusayan is a small town that primarily provides tourist services for guests of the Grand Canyon. You'll be able to find tours, restaurants and some basic amenities here. We don't always recommend getting a hotels near the park, though. Most Grand Canyon visitors over estimate how long they'll be visiting the Grand Canyon. Multiple days here are rare unless you're camping, running or hiking down the Grand Canyon, booked several tours or a multi-day tour package. Otherwise, one night at a hotel near the Grand Canyon is usually sufficient, so much so that many visitors often choose to stay in Flagstaff or Sedona where there are additional things to do and see.
