Visitors park near the entrance complex and use Grand Canyon West’s complimentary hop-on, hop-off shuttle transportation to travel among the main attractions. Private vehicles are not used to drive freely between all primary visitor sites.

A self-drive visit gives you more control over your departure time and allows you to stop around Hoover Dam, Boulder City or Kingman. It also avoids lengthy hotel pickup routes.

Grand Canyon West Tickets and Shuttle Transportation

Admission products can change by season and promotion. Grand Canyon West currently markets an All-Access Pass that includes general admission, Skywalk access, shuttle transportation and several additional benefits or activities. Other limited or specialty passes may also be offered. Always check the precise inclusions attached to your selected date before purchasing.

Commercial tours from Las Vegas may bundle Grand Canyon West admission into the tour price. Do not assume the Skywalk is included simply because the tour stops at Eagle Point. Look for an explicit Skywalk inclusion in the booking description.

Grand Canyon Skywalk at Eagle Point

The Skywalk is a horseshoe-shaped glass bridge extending beyond the canyon edge at Eagle Point. It is the best-known attraction at Grand Canyon West and the primary reason many Las Vegas visitors choose the West Rim.

Personal cameras, phones and loose belongings may be restricted on the glass bridge. Lockers and professional photography services may be used under current operating procedures. Confirm the rules before arriving because policies can change.

Eagle Point also includes canyon views, interpretive experiences and presentations connected to Hualapai and other Indigenous cultures.

Guano Point

Guano Point offers broad canyon views and rough walking paths across a narrow promontory. It is often considered the more natural and scenic of the two principal overlook areas.

Remnants of a historic guano-mining tramway remain visible. The terrain is uneven, exposed and largely without guardrails, so sturdy shoes and careful supervision of children are important.

Hualapai Point

Zipline and Additional Activities

Colorado River Experiences

Selected West Rim packages combine helicopter transportation with a short boat ride on the Colorado River. These are sightseeing experiences rather than full whitewater rafting expeditions.

Arizona does not generally observe daylight saving time, while Nevada does. From spring through early fall, Grand Canyon West and Las Vegas commonly share the same clock time. During the rest of the year, Grand Canyon West is typically one hour ahead of Las Vegas.

Can You Visit Havasu Falls from Grand Canyon West?

Havasu Falls is not part of Grand Canyon West and cannot be added to a standard West Rim day tour.
